April 25th, 2008! As Variety says, that's when the Nim's Island film will 'bow'. I'd just say it's when it opens, or is released, or is born.... anyway, that's the date! I don't know if that's just for North America, my guess is the Australian date will be set a little later.

Just under a year - suddenly that doesn't seem very long at all!
